Street Wash Details, “SWD,” “we,” or “us,” is a car detailing business based in Moreno Valley, California, serving the Inland Empire. This policy covers personal information we collect online through this website and offline when you contact us, book a service, or meet us in person.
“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you or your household. It doesn’t include information that’s publicly available, deidentified, or aggregated.

We don’t collect other categories of personal information, such as biometric information, precise geolocation, or protected classifications like race or religion, and we don’t draw inferences to build profiles about you.
What we collect and where it comes from
Information you give us
- When you contact us by phone, text, email, or social media: your name, contact details, and anything you include, such as your vehicle details, location, and photos.
- When you book or receive a service: appointment details, your service address or city, vehicle information, and payment information.
- Through our website: our “Let’s talk details” tool only prepares a message in your browser for you to copy. It doesn’t send anything to us. We receive that information only if you choose to send it to us yourself.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, our hosting provider receives technical information, like your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, so it can deliver and protect the site. We also store your cookie choices. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Information from others
We may receive information from service providers that help us run the business, like our booking provider, and from social media platforms when you message us there.

Who we disclose it to
In the past 12 months, we have disclosed the categories of personal information above for business purposes to service providers that work for us under contracts limiting how they can use it:
- Website hosting and security (Cloudflare): identifiers and internet activity, to deliver and protect this site.
- Fonts (Google Fonts): your IP address and browser details, received when your browser loads our typefaces. Google says it doesn’t set cookies for this service.
- Booking (Cal.com): identifiers, commercial information, and messages, to schedule your appointment.
- Email (Gmail, with Cloudflare Email Routing for inbound mail): identifiers and messages, so we can reply to you and send appointment confirmations.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Selling and sharing
We don’t sell personal information and haven’t in the past 12 months. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16.
“Sharing” under California law means making personal information available to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising. The only way this can happen through our website is if you choose to turn on TikTok videos. TikTok then collects identifiers and internet activity directly from your browser and uses them as described in TikTok’s Privacy Policy, which can include advertising. TikTok videos stay off unless you turn them on, and you can turn them off any time in your privacy choices.
We use sensitive personal information only to provide the services you request, as the CCPA allows, and not to infer characteristics about you.
How booking works
You book through our scheduling page, which is powered by Cal.com. To schedule your detail and prepare for it, we ask for:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- Your service address or city.
- Your vehicle’s year, make, and model, and notes about its condition.
- The service you’re interested in and your preferred dates and times.
- Any photos of your vehicle you choose to send us.
We’ll use it to respond, confirm availability and pricing, schedule your appointment, and send confirmations and reminders. Cal.com processes submissions for us as a service provider, and our Notice at Collection applies to what you submit there. We’ll never sell what you submit.
Your California privacy rights
If you’re a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we’ve collected about you, including the categories, their sources, why we collected them, who we disclosed them to, and the specific pieces of information.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, with some exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we have about you.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We don’t sell it, and TikTok videos, the only possible sharing, are off unless you turn them on.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We only use it for purposes the law allows, so no further action is needed.
- Not be retaliated against for exercising any of these rights. We won’t deny you service, charge you more, or provide a lower quality of service because you made a request.
How to make a request

Verification. To protect your information, we’ll confirm your identity by matching details you give us with information we already have, like the phone number or email address you used to book. For requests for specific pieces of information, we may ask for more details and a signed declaration. We won’t ask you to create an account, and we only use what you give us for verification.
Authorized agents. Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We’ll ask for your signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity with us directly, unless they have a power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4121 to 4130.
Timing. We’ll confirm we received your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, up to another 45 days, we’ll tell you why. Requests to opt out of sale or sharing take effect as soon as possible, and no later than 15 business days. Requests are free.

Global Privacy Control
We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information from the browser or device sending it. When we detect it, TikTok videos stay off unless you choose to turn them on, and this page and the footer show “Opt-out preference signal honored.” To use it, turn on Global Privacy Control in a browser or extension that supports it.
Do Not Track
Browsers’ “Do Not Track” setting has no agreed-upon standard, so our site doesn’t respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control, and third parties can’t collect information about your activity through our site unless you turn on TikTok videos.
Messages from us
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any of them. We may still send messages about appointments you’ve booked.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or deidentify it. The retention periods for each category are in our Notice at Collection. We consider how long you’ve been a customer, what we need for warranties and follow-ups, and our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to this site, limiting who can access customer information, and choosing service providers that protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it. We don’t sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
California “Shine the Light”
California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets California residents ask about personal information shared with third parties for their own direct marketing. We don’t share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Changes to this policy
We’ll review this policy at least once a year and update it when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make material changes, we’ll post a notice on this site and, where appropriate, contact you directly.
